The briefs were not around before 1935, which was the year when the first set of briefs were first introduced and sold to the public. Imagine what men used to wear before the briefs were made? Nowadays, there is a very strong rivalry between whether which is better for men, briefs or boxers.

A brief is an undergarment that men wear everyday to provide support and since 1935 there are already a number of different designs, styles, and cuts of these underwear. Some are described as full cut or full rise, meaning it is almost covering the entire upper thigh to the navel. And some are called mid rise and others low rise. So, it is just a matter of preference and a question of which cut is more comfortable for the wearer. Now designers are offering men more than three options. Designers are also using different materials nowadays for a fresher, sexier, and more exciting look, just like those that are made from fish nets and other interesting fabrics.

Briefs, although at present there are already a lot of men who prefer the boxers, are still considered the most favored undergarment by most men, young or old. And just like how women should know how to choose the right bra size for them, men should also be very careful when buying briefs. They should never sacrifice comfort and health for fashion or any other reasons. These undergarments are originally created to provide support and comfort to men and these are the things that have never changed through the years.
