Hosiery

Gone are the days when the term hosiery is only used to describe a leg wear that is usually worn by women. These days, this term could mean a whole lot of different things. There are so many types and styles of hosiery nowadays that a lot of women use not just as a leg wear but as tights, leggings, lingerie, and more.

Hosiery or stockings have several types, and these are what most women use, there are hold-ups or stay-ups in some countries, thigh-high stockings, leggings, socks, tights or pantyhose, knee highs, toe socks, to name some. These days though, more and more women are becoming familiar with body stockings and other types of hosiery that are very sexy and are specifically designed as lingerie or garments that are worn on some special occasions.

The materials that these kinds of hosiery are made are also becoming more interesting. Before, stockings are just plain, simple, and made from more or less the same materials. Now, we can even find some hosiery with embellishments, like rhinestones, diamonds even, some are with lace, and others have garters attached on it, and a lot more. Women can also find stockings with very wild and creative designs and materials that vary from sexy fish net, other sheer materials, semi-translucent and translucent fabrics, fence net, and a whole bunch of other things.

Women can really enjoy dressing up these days, since they have a wide array of choices. Unlike before when women are just confined to long dresses that cover their entire body and basically that is it. Now, women are given the freedom to choose what they want to wear and they can also experiment in terms of the fabrics and materials that they want to use, as well as the kinds of ornaments they want to include.
